Dr. Frank Heinricht, who was officially appointed to the position of new Chairman of the Board of Management of Schott by the Supervisory Board of Schott AG when it convened on 27 February 2013, has now taken up his duties.
Dr. Frank Heinricht (51) took up his duties as the new Chairman of the Board of Management of Schott on 1 June 2013. He was officially appointed to this position by the Supervisory Board of Schott AG when it convened on 27 February 2013. Dr. Heinricht’s most recent position was Chairman of the Board of Heraeus Holding GmbH.
After studying physics and receiving his doctorate in engineering at the Technical University of Berlin, Dr. Heinricht began his professional career with a semiconductor company. In 2003, he joined Heraeus Holding GmbH as a member of the Board of Management before being appointed Chairman in 2008. “I am really looking forward to my new role at Schott because the company has outstanding products and highly committed employees,” Dr. Heinricht notes.
