16 September 1998: US-based manufacturer of building materials, CertainTeed Corporation, has named Christopher Kliefoth as vice president and general manager for the company“s newly formed fibre cement division. A recent press report said that during the first quarter of 1999, CertainTeed expects to begin manufacturing fibre cement products at the facility which the company is currently building in White City, Oregon (US). The headquarters for the company“s new fibre cement division will also be based at this location.
