Bystronic glass completes its reorganization with new management team

As part of the reorganization announced in 2012, Bystronic glass has also made some changes to the group management. The reorganization has proceeded hand in hand with a relocation of the Bystronic glass Group Management from Bützberg in Switzerland to Neuhausen-Hamberg in Southern Germany.

At the beginning of 2012, Bystronic glass announced a reorganization, which nearly a year and a half later, is now almost complete. Both the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) automotive glass and the machine service team for architectural glass cutting machines are under one roof at the Bystronic glass Swiss location in Bützberg. The SBU insulating glass and SBU laminated glass/handling now share the infrastructure at the company’s southern German location in Neuhausen-Hamberg.
Accompanying this reorganization came some changes to the group management, starting with André Brütsch who was appointed CEO of the Bystronic glass Group at the beginning of 2012. Since the beginning of 2013, Manfred Dietrich, who has been with Bystronic glass for a good seven months now, has become the Head of SBU Automotive Glass in Bützberg. A new face is Michael Rudloff, who has been Head of SBU Insulating Glass at Neuhausen-Hamberg since 1 July 2013. Originally located in Gunzenhausen before relocation to Neuhausen-Hamberg Bernd Bedner continues his responsibility as Head of the SBU Laminated Glass/Handling, a post he has held since 2003. “I am very pleased that the trio of SBU managers in the product division is now complete,” said André Brütsch who added: “This means that we are well positioned for a successful future.”
The reorganization has proceeded hand in hand with a relocation of the Bystronic glass Group Management from Bützberg in Switzerland to Neuhausen-Hamberg in Southern Germany. “Harnessing our strengths and focus at the locations has made us both flexible and more powerful, enabling us to supply customers with high quality products and services to an even better level than previously,” said André Brütsch. “This has enabled us to considerably strengthen our core competencies architectural glass and automotive glass.” The global Bystronic glass Sales and Service Organisation has remained almost unchanged. It continues to nurture close relationships with the customers in the most important markets and offers a high quality local customer service in the customer’s language. The Sales and Service Organisation forms a separate entity in Europe.
