Borosil Glass Works Ltd., has informed The Bombay Stock Exchange that at its annual general meeting on 25 August 2006, shareholders approved a 20% dividend on the equity share capital, the appointment of Mr. Shreevar Kheruka as vice president of the company for 3 years, and the appointment of Mr. V. Ramaswami as a director liable to retire by rotation and as whole time director for 3 years from 1 September 2006. In a separate move, Hotline Glass Ltd., informed The Bombay Stock Exchange that the company Register of Members and Share Transfer Books will remain closed from 16 September 2006 to 30 September 2006 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of the company annual general meeting to be held on 30 September 2006. Alembic Glass Industries Ltd., will close its copies of the books from 18 September 2006 to 25 September 2006 (both days inclusive) for the same purpose.
