Bohle CEO steps down

Dr. Heinrich Ostendarp, CEO at Bohle AG, has resigned. Bohle chief operating officer Arne Kloefkorn will take over his duties until a decision has been made regarding a successor.

Bohle AG chief executive officer Dr. Heinrich Ostendarp has resigned from his position with the consent of the company’s supervisory board. Bohle chief operating officer Arne Kloefkorn will take over his duties until a decision has been made regarding Ostendarp’s successor, according to the company.
Ostendarp was appointed to the board of directors in 2006.
“Under his leadership, the company has continuously rebuilt and further developed its structures,” a release from the company states. “For example, Bohle has succeeded in strengthening its position as an international partner to the glass industry. The consequent alignment towards meeting specific customer needs with regard to glass with a unique and in part highly innovative product spectrum and its increasingly international orientation have all been important factors in this respect.”
“The Supervisory Board would like to thank Dr. Ostendarp for his strong contribution to the company’s successful development over the past nine years,” the board says. “Dr. Ostendarp will continue to advise the company on further developing new business and products through the end of 2015.”
