BDF & GZI announce the completion of the state-of-the-art new Furnace at the Guinea Plant in Agbara, Nigeria.
This is a great world record from Africa, rebuilding a Furnace with full modifications, new IS lines and new automation control systems for melting and forming equipment, in 34 days and Glass to Glass 49 days. Within 48 hours plant operation had reached 90% packed efficiency in Green glass, with lines ready to run with Light Weight Blow-Blow production.
This result has been achieved thanks to the full cooperation between the BDF team and the Glass Plant management team, and with the cooperation and assistance of Mr. Agarwal Jagdish (COO of GZI Glass operation).
