The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan has declared its official support of Baku Glass 2016.
Baku Glass 2016 now has the official support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan. The Deputy Minister Nasim Samadov has granted moral endorsement to the event, which can also count on the assistance and promotion of the Azerbaijan Convention Bureau.
The organizer of the event A151 Srl would like to thank Deputy Minister Nasim Samadov and the Azerbaijan Convention Bureau for their great assistance over the last few months to support and promote the first event dedicated to the glass sector for the Caspian Sea and Caucasus Region. The Ministry and the Azerbaijan Convention Bureau have expressed their best wishes and, above all, collaboration for the success of this first international event in Azerbaijan dedicated to the glass sector, which will take place 1 and 2 March 2016 at the Holiday Inn in Baku.
Baku is the largest city on the Caspian Sea and stands at the heart of a vast region on the border between Europe and Asia with around 50 million people. The Caspian Sea oil and gas fields are some of the largest in the world and the country also has significant deposits of precious metals, including gold and silver. In recent years Azerbaijan has experienced strong growth: in 2014 growth was 5%, while for the next three years (2015 -2017) it is forecast at between 3.6% and 5%.
