A 10-day industrial dispute at the Meurthe-et-Moselle factory of French crystal ware company Baccarat was settled on 24 March 2006 after management agreed to a monthly pay rise of EUR 38 – 50 net per person. Employees had been demanding an increase of EUR 150 each, but this was out of the question for a company that had seen a decline in its results, according to CEO Marc Leclerc.
