French fine crystal maker Baccarat posted turnover of EUR 86.5 million (USD 104.7 million) for the first nine months of 2005, up 4% on the same period of 2004. The company registered 3Q 2005 sales up 5% year-on-year, at EUR 28.1 million (USD 34 million). Baccarat is part of French luxury goods and hotel group Societe du Louvre, a subsidiary of French champagne and hotels company Taittinger SA. The company makes jewellery, accessories, decorative items and tableware.
