French crystal and glassware manufacturer Arc International has launched a website for its Arcoroc brand. Aimed at food service professionals, www.arcoroc.com addresses two types of customers: those in commercial food services such as hotels, bars and restaurants, and those in institutional catering such as schools, hospitals and workplace canteens. Website visitors can browse an online catalogue, purchase products, and find news from the sector and information about the Arcoroc brand. Arc International was set up in 1825 under the name Verrerie Cristallerie d“Arques but changed the corporate name and image in 2000, and now operates as Arc International. It comprises the brands Arcoroc, Luminarc, Studio Nova, Mikasa, Cristal d“Arques, JG Durand and Salviati. The company operates two factories in France, a plant in Millville, New Jersey, the USA, a plant in Vicrila, Spain, one in Nanking, in China, and one in Italy. The company employs 11,300 in France and 16,000 worldwide. Arc International exports 83% of its production to 160 countries. Northern America accounts for 45% of the total sales, Europe for 40%, Asia and Africa for 15%.
