Apogee Enterprises Inc. named Robert E. Munzenrider president of its Harmon AutoGlass unit, effective October 1. In a press release, Apogee said Munzenrider replaces Barbara Fitzgerald, who will leave the company September 30. Munzenrider was most recently vice president of finance for Apogee“s Glass Services unit. The company also announced four other management changes, aimed at developing customer service, e-commerce and co-branding within Apogee and its units. Gary Jacobson, formerly Harmon AutoGlass“ executive vice president of sales and marketing, will become Apogee Enterprises“ chief operating officer. A company spokesman said this position is newly created. Susan Boche, formerly an executive with Broadway of Southern California, will become Apogee“s vice president of business development in a newly created position. Steve Schmidt, who has been Apogee“s Glass Services segment controller since January, was named vice president, finance, for the Harmon AutoGlass and Glass Services units. Schmidt replaces Munzenrider, said the company spokesman. Michael A. Bevilacqua, Apogee“s treasurer and senior director of business development, will resign effective September 29 to join Lawson Software in St. Paul, Minnesota.
