Turkish container glass manufacturer Anadolu Cam completed its USD 40 million (EUR 34.2 million) furnace investment at the Yenisehir glass packaging facility in northern Turkey, the company said in a statement to the Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) on 16 January 2006. Anadolu Cam, which holds an 85% stake in the Yenisehir plant, began construction of the furnace in July 2005. The furnace has a capacity of 120,000 tonnes a year. Anadolu Cam is part of Turkish glassware and chemicals group Sisecam.
