A total of 70,000 new shares of Ahlstrom Corporation have been subscribed with option rights under the company“s stock option program I. A corresponding increase of EUR 105,000 in Ahlstrom“s share capital was entered in the Trade Register on 18 December 2006. After the increase, the total number of Ahlstrom Corporation shares is 45,661,737 and the share capital increased to EUR 68,492,605.50. The shares started trading on the Helsinki Stock Exchange as old shares as of 19 December 2006.
