Dow and Dow Corning will be at The International Inorganic-Bonded Fiber Composites Conference (IIBCC) 2016 in Fuzhou, China, 7-11 November, (Booth H104), displaying their acrylic emulsion polymers and silicone-based water repellents for the superior protection of fiber-reinforced cement (FRC) siding, roofing and flooring.

The Dow and Dow Corning team will present an overview of their joint capabilities at the IIBCC Suppliers Day event on Tuesday, 8 November, from 4:00 to 5:45 pm.
They will also be exhibiting the newest addition to the broad Dow Corning® brand product portfolio of silicone-based hydrophobers.
Dow Corning® IE 6686 Water Repellent, an oil-in-water emulsion of a silicone resin, is easy to mix and disperse into FRC formulations. It provides excellent resistance to water uptake and efflorescence.
Jean-Paul Lecomte, technical service leader for construction chemicals at Dow Corning, will present a technical paper on the new product at the IIBCC Conference Programme. His talk, ”Use of Silicone Resin Emulsion as Integral Water Repellent for Mortar and Fibre Reinforced Cement Boards (FRC),” will be held 9 November at 4:15 p.m.
