The first incumbent of the newly created post of Vice President of International Sales at Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. will be Dr. Bruno W. Doetsch, 45, the company announced 6 July 2006. Advanced Energy said the new post will leverage Dr. Doetsch“s operations, sales and technical expertise to broaden its global customer reach and focus. Most recently, Dr. Doetsch was Corporate Senior Director of Business Development at Mattson Technology, a semiconductor process equipment provider located in Fremont, California. Earlier, he was Senior Director and General Manager of Mattson Asia where he established operations in China and extended the company“s presence in regions such as Taiwan and Korea. He holds a doctorate degree in physics from the University Erlangen-Nurnberg, Germany.
