Combustion Tec, Inc. (CTI), based in Florida, US, has recently announced the appointment of Mr. Wayne Grubb (see photo on left) as assistant chief engineer. The company explains that Mr. Grubb has more than thirty years of glass industry experience including furnace design, construction and related services. This appointment, according to the company, is part of the continuing effort to strengthen the CTI Engineering Team and to provide the service and support the glass industry demands. Combustion Tec also announced that it has completed a major expansion of its manufacturing and design facilities. Total space has been increased by 45%, with the manufacturing area extended to more than 19,500 sq. ft. and office space enlarged to more than 15,200 sq. ft. The Florida complex is complemented with offices in Maastricht, The Netherlands and Beijing, China.
