Cimcorp Oy, part of Finnish diversified engineering group Metra Oy, won a FM 40 million order for a robot system from its long-term Korean client Samsung Corning. The robot systems will be supplied to Samsung Corning“s glassworks in Germany, South Korea and Malaysia between April and August 1996, the company said. Cimcorp also announced its 1996 net sales are likely to exceed FM 200 million since its order backlog for this year is already over FM 130 million. The company“s net sales have risen about 40% a year during the last couple of years. Cimcorp“s payroll rose by 30 from 140 in 1995 and, according to the company, another 30 new employees will probably be needed in 1996.
