Clear film label leader, Spear, Inc. of Cincinnati, Ohio, US, has announced that it is proud to have been chosen label supplier to Brown-Forman for its new Forester 96 Barrel Reserve. This beverage product is a special selection of Kentucky“s finest bourbon whisky produced exclusively in honour of the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia. As one of the world“s finest bourbons, Forester 96 Barrel Reserve has been crafted in limited production (7,500 cases) by head distiller Lincoln Hendersen exclusively for the duty-free market. Spear said that Brown-Forman elected to utilise its premium screen-printed clear labelling system for Forester 96 Barrel Reserve due to the premium image and shelf impact that can be generated with this package decorating system. The label features a javelin thrower and is printed in four flat bed screen colours that incudes metallic hot foil stamping. There is a heavy emphasis on the use of Spear“s clear substrate to allow the product“s deep, reddish colour to show through.
