Elettromeccanica Bovone, specialised in equipment and machinery for flat glass processing and mirror manufacturing, recently announced that it has a complete silvering line under construction for Han Mirror, part of Hankuk Group, Korea. The line, 266 metres long, which is record-breaking for the Italian firm, will be in operation from September 1996 at a new purpose-built Han Mirror plant in the Korean city of Iri. With three workshifts, the silvering line output will be 24,000 sq. m. of mirror, with maximum dimensions of 3.21 metres in width and 6 metres in length. Composed of modules, the line also comes with complete automatic loading and off-loading units as well as different ancillary equipment, all manufactured by Bovone. According to the com-pany, five of the six silvering lines in operation today in Korea were supplied by Bovone.
