For 30 years, CAR-MET has been active in the production of technology for the glass industry. Founded and built up under the watchful eye of its current president, Antonio Zanin (in photo), the activity of the company, backed by a skilled and experienced technical and commercial workforce, is centred on the design and production of decorating and annealing lehrs, mould pre-heating ovens, stackers, hot glass scrapers and cross-conveyors. The Italian firm claims that its constant commitment to the product has led to a combination of total quality and innovative technology which has enabled CAR-MET to move right away from traditional production criteria. In order to make its productive structure even more flexible, and in response to greater international demand, glass plant manufacturer CAR-MET recently increased its number of production lines, each dedicated to a specific type of production, from 5 to 8. The new lines went into operation in April 1996 at the company“s 12,000 sq. m. facility at Codogn in north-eastern Italy. All construction and assembly takes place at Codogn, where customers are also able to follow pre-delivery testing. CAR-MET describes itself as a forward-looking company, ready to satisfy all its clients“ demands with enthusiasm and dynamism.
