US-based Holophane Corp. has announced record revenues, operating income and net income for the third quarter ended 30 September 1995. The company reported world-wide sales of US$ 49.6 million, up 20% from 1994. Operating income of US$ 9.0 million was up 20% due to increased volume and continuing productivity gains. Net income was US$ 5.3 million in 1995 compared to US$ 4.4 million in 1994. Earnings per common share rose 18% from US$ 0.57 in 1994 to US$ 0.67 in 1995. For the nine-month period ended 30 September sales were US$ 137.2 million, an increase of 24%. Operating income increased 35% to $22.5 million compared to US$ 16.7 million in 1994. Earnings per common share increased 38% compared to 1994. Net income and earnings per common share for the first nine months of 1995 were US$ 12.7 million and US$ 1.64, respectively, compared to US$ 9.2 million and US$ 1.19 in 1994.
