In May of this year mirror chemicals producer Hilemn Laboratories Inc. of Greensboro, North Carolina (US) and California-based Fenzi USA announced the signing of a merger agreement to combine sales and marketing efforts in North America. As part of the agreement, Hilemn will begin selling and distributing Fenzi mirror backing paint in the eastern United States and Canada. In addition, the two American companies have exchanged stocks, each taking a partial ownership in the other company. Fenzi USA is a subsidiary of Fenzi Spa of Italy, whose president Dino Fenzi said: “We are very pleased about the synergy that working with Hilemn can provide, and we are sure that our customers will be very satisfied with the improved service that the two companies will jointly offer.” Dan Kavorak, president and chief executive officer of Hilemn added, “We are excited about working more closely with Fenzi and combining our technical support in one of the finest mirror backing paints in the world”. In addition to mirror backing paint, Fenzi makes sealants and other products for the worldwide flat glass industry.
