Spanish bottle manufacturer Vidrala has announced that it has made profits of Pta 585 million in the first quarter of 1996, a 20% increase on the same period in 1995. The group also saw a 16% rise in first-quarter turnover to Pta 3,153 million. The news follows improved performance in 1995, which saw net profits increase to Pta 2.2 billion, up 33% on the 1994 figure and sales rise by 3.4% to Pta 11.6 billion. The higher profits allowed the Spanish company to pay a total dividend of Pta 180 gross.
