Glastec “96 will see the launch of F.S.M. Automazioni Srl into the glass arena. Although the name will be new to the glass sector, the company is, in fact, a long-established designer and producer of NC robotic workcentres, automatic handling and assembling systems, and electronic test benches. Among some of its clients are companies like Volkswagen, Ford, Fiat, Ferrari, Comau, Marposs and Siemens. Established in 1974, the Italian company, based in the city of Modena, currently has a workforce of 50. The company has combined highly sophisticated technology with the twenty years of know-how and experience of a team of skilled professionals, and applied it to the field of glass cutting and handling equipment. It has developed a full range of machinery for small, medium-sized and large glass companies under the brand name Daura. The Daura range is composed of three NC flat glass cutting table lines (Pratika, Velox and Maxima) and a line for laminated glass (Sikura). On display at Glastec “96 (Hall 13, Stand B11) will be the top-of-the-range Maxima 3200 SR.
