Videocon Narmada Glass Ltd. in Bharuch, Gujarat State, India signed a contract with Finnish power systems company Wartsila Oyj on 26 April 2005 for the supply of an 18 megawatt gas fueled power plant. Wartsila did not give any financial details. The first phase of the power plant was ordered in December 2004 and the second in April 2005, Wartsila said. The Videocon Narmada Glass plant in Bharuch is the largest manufacturer in India of glass shells for color television tubes.
