Surventis: Dr. Rebecca Koch appointed Chief Human Resources Officer

Surventis, a leading coatings technology company, formerly BASF Coatings, announced the appointment of Dr. Rebecca Koch as Chief Human Resources Officer and member of the Executive Committee, effective September 1, 2026.

In this role, she will be responsible for further developing the global HR organisation of Surventis, with a particular focus on culture, leadership and the people foundation for the company’s performance ambition. She brings more than 15 years of international HR leadership experience, most recently at software group Nemetschek and at DB Schenker, where she was responsible for up to 50,000 employees across Europe.

“Rebecca Koch is a highly accomplished HR leader, and we are fortunate to have won her for Surventis,” said Jens Luehring, CEO of Surventis. “She has run HR at scale, in several industries and on three continents. I look forward to working with her.”

“Surventis has a clear ambition, in-depth expertise, a strong customer base and a team that is open to new ways of working,” said Dr. Rebecca Koch. “Building the culture and leadership that turn this into results is exactly what I stand for. I look forward to getting started with the team.”

Rebecca Koch follows Markus Dinslacken. “Markus guided the HR organisation through the carve-out from BASF, building the foundation on which the HR organisation stands today. He supported the transition with great personal commitment. On behalf of the Executive Committee and everyone at Surventis, I thank him sincerely for his contributions,” said Jens Luehring.

Rebecca Koch studied business mathematics, holds a doctorate in behavioural finance, and completed the International Directors Programme at INSEAD. She writes and speaks regularly on artificial intelligence and its impact on HR. She has three children and lives with her family near Frankfurt.
