SGD Pharma has released its Sustainability Report 2025, highlighting the progress made across environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters and strengthening its position as a leader in the pharmaceutical glass industry.
Over the past year, SGD Pharma has reached significant milestones that reflect both its ambition and the collective efforts of its teams worldwide.
These include:
- An EcoVadis score of 90/100, earning a Platinum medal for the second consecutive year and placing SGD Pharma among the top 1% of companies assessed globally.
- Achieving a CDP Climate score of A, CDP Water score of B, and CDP Supplier Engagement score of A, demonstrating a continued progress in environmental stewardship.
- Certification of all its manufacturing sites to ISO 45001, ISO 50001 and ISO 14001, reflecting a commitment to health and safety, energy management and environmental performance.
SGD Pharma is the first glass manufacturer in China to achieve ISO 14021 for post-consumer recycled content at the Zhanjiang plant.
Onboarding critical suppliers with 100% signed up to SGD Pharma’s Supplier Code of Conduct. In addition, the sustainability weighting in supplier evaluations has been raised from 10% to 20%.
Revising the Group’s HR policy to formalise the company’s approach to developing a safe, fair and inclusive workplace, including:
- A commitment to ensuring a living wage for all permanent employees by 2028.
- Deployment of the French Gender Equality Index methodology across all locations.
- Strengthening the labour relations framework.
