Forglass has continued its successful long-term cooperation with one of the world’s leading glass packaging manufacturers by taking on another key project at a production facility in France. The new investment has highlighted the partners’ shared commitment to innovation and the development of advanced technologies for the glass industry.
The project has covered the delivery and implementation of comprehensive combustion and utility systems for the furnace and forehearths, designed in line with the highest engineering and safety standards.
Forglass has been responsible for the complete forehearth combustion installation, comprising gas pressure-reduction and gas–air mixing skids, combustion air installations, full gas infrastructure, burners, manifolds and the forehearth cooling system.

The scope also included the delivery of a compressed air skid and the installation of the compressed air system on site. For the furnace area, Forglass delivered and installed the combustion piping, including burner manifolds and flexible connections between the manifolds and burners, as well as the furnace heat-up installation.
The execution of the project has required close coordination between engineering and site teams, as well as strict adherence to high safety standards. Now the installation ensures reliable and stable operation of combustion, compressed air and cooling systems, supporting efficient and safe production processes.
