Verallia Italia has honoured four companies from its supply chain—Air Liquide, ENGIE Italia, Fonderie Valdelsane and Mi.Gra.—as part of the CSR Supplier Award, recognising concrete projects in decarbonisation, energy efficiency and circular economy.
The ceremony took place on March 16 at the Corsico plant (Milan) and provided an opportunity to discuss sustainability strategies across the supply chain, seen as a key lever for achieving the Group’s environmental and social objectives.
Among the awarded projects:
- Air Liquide, for an oxy-combustion technology that reduces energy consumption and CO2 emissions
- ENGIE Italia, for industrial heat recovery integrated into the local district heating network
- Fonderie Valdelsane, for the circular economy project “CIRCULARITY” focused on mould reuse
- Mi.Gra., for the recovery and valorisation of mineral waste transformed into secondary raw materials
The initiative confirms Verallia’s commitment to building an increasingly sustainable and innovation-driven supply chain, in line with the Group’s climate objectives.
