Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company (QIMC)’s Gizaz plant in Qatar has successfully completed its start-up phase and is now fully operational. Over the past two months, the plant’s three production lines have reached full capacity, with two lines operating in Triple Gob (one of them recently switched to NNPB process) and one in Double Gob with and average Pack to Melt Efficiency beyond 85 percent, a significant value for a newly born plant.
The factory is the first of its kind in Qatar and specializes in the production of glass containers used for bottling water, soft drinks, juices, various food products and other materials.
The furnace quickly reached its maximum capacity, despite low cullet availability, and the produced glass has met and exceeded the expected quality from the very beginning.
It has been a period of intense work for the entire team at Falorni Tech, the glassworks staff and the suppliers, who have all dedicated themselves to ensuring the timely and successful completion of the project.
During this phase, Falorni’s technical assistance team is dedicated to maintaining regular contact with the customer and is always ready to promptly address any needs or concerns.
Falorni Tech sends a heartfelt gratitude to Gizaz and all the staff whose unwavering professionalism and dedication have made this remarkable achievement possible.
