The Greek glassware importer Yalco saw sales rise by 34% last year to Dr 6.27 billion, according to company sources. A 25% rise in profits to Dr 550 million is also expected. The increases are attributed to the acquisition of the remaining 50% in electrical appliances company Velkon, whose activities were subsequently absorbed.
