When design meets precision: The A+W logo in glass

This year at GlassBuild America 2025, A+W wanted to do something that truly stands out in the booth. So what if the iconic A+W logo wasn’t just on the wall, but actually built into the booth itself as a glass table?

It’s more than just furniture. It’s a way to represent who the company is: precise, innovative, and a little bold, and the team couldn’t think of a better partner than Kensington Glass Arts (KGa) to help bring it to life.

The Partnership: A+W and Kensington Glass Arts
Kensington has been part of the A+W family since 2008, and they’re known for tackling complex architectural glass projects all across the Mid-Atlantic. They do everything from stunning interiors to detailed façade work, and they always deliver craftsmanship with precision.

When A+W asked Jim Rathbone and Ryan Heilman at Kensington Glass Arts to help turn their logo into a trade-show-ready glass table, they didn’t hesitate. As they said, “We were pleased to be picked by A+W to work on this table, considering the numerous clients [A+W has] in this industry. We’ve enjoyed our collaboration and the many ways A+W has helped improve our capabilities over the years, and we hope this continues long into the future.”

From concept to CAD
The idea was simple: make something dramatic that shows off the A+W identity. But making a functional, stable and durable table in the shape of the company logo? That was the challenge.

Kensington’s team mapped out every detail, from the tabletop to the legs and the backing using A+W Business and Production. Once the final size was set, they worked backward to make sure every piece fit perfectly. They admitted it looks simple when finished, but there were a lot of small details that had to come together to make this “trade show ready.”

Where to see it
The logo table will make its debut in A+W’s new booth at GlassBuild America 2025, November 4 to 6, booth 12041, in Orlando, Florida. Visitors will get the chance to see the craftsmanship up close, and Kensington Glass Arts hopes you’ll notice the attention to detail in every piece.

For A+W, this project is a reminder of the strength of partnerships. A+W is proud to work with Kensington Glass Arts on something so unique.
