Vitrum 2025: training and innovation drive renewal of the glass fair

Vitrum 2025, the international glass industry trade fair to be held in Milan from 16-19 September, is embarking on a new course: an event more closely aligned with the needs of the supply chain, where innovation, networking and training become strategic drivers of change.

In an increasingly competitive global market, Italian manufacturing faces a crucial challenge: attracting talent and training highly specialised personnel capable of working with advanced technologies and complex processes. Vitrum responds to this need with a high-level training programme that integrates courses and masterclasses designed to transfer concrete skills, regulatory updates and insights into the most innovative technologies.

“The renewal of Vitrum is based on several strategic levers,” explained Lucia Masutti, General Manager of Viturm, “and training is one of the most important. With this project, we want to offer concrete tools to enhance talent, develop skills and strengthen the competitiveness of the sector.”

The courses: Italian excellence and know-how
The Vitrum 2025 courses are organised by the Stazione Sperimentale del Vetro (SSV), an Italian public institute of excellence that has been supporting the glass industry for over a hundred years with research, innovation, testing and technical consulting. Thanks to its scientific approach and in-depth knowledge of materials, the SSV guarantees practical and up-to-date training, providing participants with tools that can be immediately applied in production lines.

The complete programme is available here.
