The population of the small beach-side village of Caraíva, Brazil, swells by more than 7,000 visitors during tourist season. People in this idyllic setting want to keep the beaches pristine.
Vidrado, a glass recycling project from Heineken, SOLOS, AWE and O-I Glass collected thousands of glass bottles from December 2021 to March 2022. The glass came to the O-I Glass’ Recife plant to be made into new glass bottles and jars.
