Austrian refractory products manufacturer Veitsch-Radex, a subsidiary of Radex-Heraklith Industriebeteiligungs AG, has inaugurated a new rotary furnace worth Sch 165 million in Turkey. The furnace, which will guarantee supplies of magnesite to the group, represents the group“s second major investment this year after its new plant in China. Director Guenther Moertl estimated the Veitsch-Radex/Didier group“s total investments in 1996 at over Sch 600 million. Turnover is projected to reach around Sch 17 billion.
