Van De Voorde BVBA, of Belgium, recently announced that it has taken over the manufacture and worldwide distribution of NFO lubricants for the glass industry. The company explains that this mainly centres around swabbing compounds for blanks, synthetic shear oils and neck rings for containers and special lubricants for pressedware and crystalware. The NFO department of Van De Voorde has been distributing the aforementioned lubricants in Europe for almost 10 years. Since that time, thanks to the collaboration with their customers, many new products have been developed. The company points out that it can now offer high-quality products with increased lubrication intervals, ideal for better bottle finish and lightweight bottles. In addition to Van De Voorde“s present agents, a number of new agencies will start up in 1996 to support distribution, mainly in Europe.
