Turkish automotive glass maker Trakya Cam Sanayii A.S., a subsidiary Turkey“s glass and glassware company Trkiye Sise ve Cam Fabrikalari A.S. (Sisecam) has reported its results for the first half of 1996. Net profit rose from TL 1,020.8 billion, for the same period last year, to TL 1,433.35 billion, which represents an increase of 40%, while sales went up 59.3% to stand at TL 5,414.3 billion. However, the Turkish company“s per share profit fell to TL 183.76 from TL 417.9 and the figures do not take into account Turkey“s 82.9% year-on-year consumer inflation as it stood in June.
