HEGLA has have been cutting thin glass for more than 30 years. With glass thicknesses starting from 0.5 millimetres, whole new possibilities open up for insulated glass units with thin glass as the middle pane, both in renovations and new builds. Instead of replacing existing windows, the old double insulated glass pane can simply be replaced with a triple unit of the same width.
The result: a lighter, slimmer and more efficient insulation unit with a U-value comparable to conventional triple insulated glass, all cut highly automated with HEGLA Galactic TG cutting machine.
