The glass division of the Svecia Group has received two large orders totalling an approximate value of US$ 5 million, placed by South Korean Hanglass Group and Italian-based SIV. The Hanglass Group ordered several fully-automatic production lines for screen printing on automotive glass, which is its third order placed with Svecia. Meanwhile, SIV, a part of the Pilkington Group, placed an order for seven screen printing machines and three dryers. Svecia develops, manufactures and markets its equipment from factories in Sweden, Italy and the United States, and has sales operations in Spain, Germany, France and Hong Kong. The group is considered a leader in production systems for screen printing for the graphic, glass and textile industries, with its equipment being utilised in automotive, household appliances and architectural glass applications. In 1995 turnover for the Svecia Group was reported at US$ 39 million, and its employees stood at 200.
