The Czech Republic glassmaker Sklo Bohemia made Kcs 43 million in gross profit in the first nine months of this year, up 79% from the same period in 1995. The company had a turnover of Kcs 690 million in the same period, 20% up from the year-earlier period. Between January and September, the company produced Kcs 330.3 million worth of lead crystal, while its shops sold Kcs 47.5 million worth of goods, up Kcs 2.5 million from 1995. Exports represent 70% of output with Kcs 9.7 million-worth of goods being exported to Slovakia and Kcs 350 million-worth to other countries. Investments in the first nine months totalled Kcs 39 million.
