21 May 1998: Shenzhen South Glass Co. Ltd. of China recently introduced an advanced producing line of low radiation film-coated glass from the United States, according to a recent press report. The project, with a total investment amounting to RMB 150 million, marks the domestic first with notable production scale and the Asia“s largest. With an annual output of 2.8 million square metres, the line is bound to become the firm“s new economic growth point, the report said.
