Construction of a float glass facility, one of the biggest and most modern in Central Europe, has been started by the French glassmaker Saint-Gobain at Dabrowa Gornicza in Southern Poland. Guy Rolli, representative of “Polfloat Saint-Gobain” said that the target production of the factory when completed will be 550 tons of float glass a day for the needs of Polish construction and automotive industries. The cost of the investment will be Zl 310 million and it will employ 300.
