Saint-Gobain Glass India (SGGI), a manufacturer of a range of glass products with two plants in India, has grouped all its solar control products under the Sun Ban brand and will try to boost sales of the products to home owners, small retailers, offices and schools. The Sun Ban range includes SGG Reflectasol, for window glazing, SGG Antelio, for facade glazing in medium to large projects and SGG Cool-lite for facade glazing in large and very large projects. The Sun Ban range costs only 0.5% than clear glass products. The company will begin an advertising and marketing campaign in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh in March 2006, which follow a similar campaign in Kerala. SGG has previously successfully marketed the Sun Ban range of products to corporate India. The company is also considering manufacturing the entire range of solar control products at its 72 hectare plant at Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu.
