It was reported at the beginning of September that British company Global Systems GSL (Impact and Fire Protection) Limited, UK, one of the largest producers and sellers of glass in the world, purchased from a small innovative St.-Petersburg firm, OOO “Anter”, the technology for production of fireproof and explosion-proof glass. Scientists of “Anter” discovered the polymer formula, which is able to turn common glass into fireproof glass. The British company bought the production technology of this polymer. The value of the transaction was not disclosed.
