Royal Doulton has announced that from 1 January 1997 Stuart Lyons, chief executive, will take on the additional role of deputy chairman, and Patrick Wenger, chief operating officer, will step up to managing director. Mark Burrell will remain non-executive chairman. The board has also appointed a chairman“s committee of Mark Burrell, Stuart Lyons, Patrick Wenger, David Jinks (non-executive), Paul Curtis (non-executive) and Peter Walley (finance) to oversee strategy, policy and performance.
