Pujol: New Heat Soak Test oven commissioned at Gruppo Bizzotto

In its ongoing commitment to excellence and safety, Gruppo Bizzotto—a company with over 50 years of experience in the glass sector and a benchmark in the Italian market thanks to its full-service customer support and customised solutions in the architectural glass world—has taken a decisive step toward improving its quality standards in architectural glass processing with the incorporation of a next-generation HST-V (Heat Soak Test) furnace supplied by Pujol, a leading provider of glass industry technology.

The Heat Soak Test (HST) treatment has become an increasingly common requirement in architectural projects, due to compliance with European safety standards for tempered glass. This process minimises the risk of spontaneous breakage caused by nickel sulphide (NiS) inclusions, by subjecting the glass to extreme conditions that ensure its reliability and compliance with EN 14179 standards.

Thanks to the collaboration with Pujol, the new system installed at Gruppo Bizzotto’s facilities incorporates cutting-edge technology featuring:

  • HST-V Pujol model, designed for high performance
  • Capacity of up to 5,400 by 2,800 millimetres, ideal for large formats
  • Full digital control of the thermal cycle
  • Smart traceability software with automatic report generation
  • High-efficiency insulation and thermal uniformity, optimising energy consumption

This investment strengthens Gruppo Bizzotto’s positioning as a key player in a market that increasingly demands quality, performance, and safety.

“With this addition, we continue to enhance our production capacity and ensure the highest quality standards for our customers,” said Gruppo Bizzotto.
