Owens Corning was recently selected as one of the 25 best places to work in Mexico by business magazine Expansion. Owens Corning ranks 24th on a list of the top 60 companies in recognition of its talented workforce, continued growth, company pride, and innovative product solutions. “We encourage a culture where every individual is valued and respected, generating an employee experience at Owens Corning that is second to none to deliver business results”, said Joseph High, senior vice president, Human Resources. “Owens Corning is committed to providing a highly productive and inspiring work environment for our employees around the world. A diverse and engaged workforce is critical to the continued success of our company and customers”. Expansion conducted a analysis of 250 national and international companies in Mexico based on five criteria: communication credibility, respect (for others and work), diversity, corporate identity (pride in working there) and team spirit (camaraderie between colleagues). Owens Corning ranked high in all categories, attributing its success to its unique management style and a culture where every individual is respected. “We are pleased to receive this recognition of our operations in Mexico”, said Carlos Valdez, vice president and managing director of Owens Corning Latin America. “Owens Corning“s most valued asset is its people, who continually strive to elevate their performance and thus, the results of the company”.
