Ocmi Spa, based in Italy, a leading manufacturer of automatic machines for the production of pharmaceutical glass containers, has recently announced the signing of a contract with Advanced Pharmaceutical Packaging Co. of Cairo, Egypt for the supply of a new turnkey plant for the production of pharmaceutical ampoules from glass tubes. The plant, complete with several advanced ampoule-making machines, model FA 36 S, and the automatic after-forming lines for control, printing, annealing and packing, model type C 501E, made by Ariste Srl, will produce several million ampoules, both open and closed, in accordance with main international standards. Since the launch of the FA 36 S ampoule-making machine, said the Italian-based company, this product has had successful worldwide distribution, and is in keeping with the company“s long tradition of sophisticated technology and continuous product development that meets the quality and economic needs of ampoule manufacturers.
