NovaSklo, a company within the investment and industrial group EFI Group, has signed an Engagement Letter Agreement with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group.
The cooperation aims to establish Ukraine’s first modern float glass production facility, a material critical to the country’s reconstruction.
The project envisages investments of approximately EUR 250 million, the creation of more than 300 jobs, the attraction of global expertise and the implementation of international best practices in sustainable manufacturing.
Following the completion of the preparatory phase, the company plans to secure long-term financing for the project, with IFC acting as a leading partner in structuring and mobilising the required investments.
The agreement signed today marks an important stage in the development of Ukraine’s industry and demonstrates the strong level of trust international financial institutions continue to place in Ukraine’s investment potential, even in challenging times.
