Polish glassmaker Krosnienskie Huty Szkla Krosno SA has reported its results for the period January to May 1996. Net profit was up 36% on the respective period in 1995 to Zl 5.31 million due to a 32% increase in sales to Zl 76.88 million. For the full financial year ending December 1995, the Polish company achieved group net sales of Zl 164.91 million and a net profit of Zl 9.17 million. The 1995 dividend was set at Zl 0.35. Meanwhile, investment bank Arnhold & S. Bleichroeder of the US has won a Ministry of Privatisation tender for 7% of Krosno, increasing its stake to 17.4%. The price was US$ 4 million.
